community Interviews and Surveys. 

Over the course of our three year project, we have conducted interviews with government officials, local businesses owners, and community members through formal and informal interviews. The interviews have been used to inform place making projects, grant applications, story maps, a play on stories of the flood, and other flood revitalization efforts.  The survey will be used as an additional source of information these projects. The survey will be distributed to several neighborhoods across the city of Binghamton, including The First Ward, etc, etc, etc. We are hoping to use these responses to assess community opinions on water quality, riverfront utilization, river access, and possible projects, including canoe and kayak rentals.
