R2G NY is most actively at work in Binghamton and Utica NY. It aims to continue expanding across Upstate NY to include the cities and regions identified by the Brookings Institute as holding particular promise for prosperity and renewal based on their assets. They include Albany, Schenectady, Utica, Binghamton, Syracuse, Rochester and Buffalo. The hope is to “grow” the R2G network and activate increasing dialogue and networking between cities in Upstate NY so that they can collectively participate in problem-solving and learning both together and from one another. |
